Circa 1882 Pach Bros. Studio Portrait
This tremendous studio image of a 19th century ballist can be definitively dated to 1882/1883 given the notations in the players own hand. This rare Pach Bros. image is of a player named C.H. MacDonald who was the Captain of the Dennison BBC out of New York City. On the reverse of the card are a number of handwritten notations to include the scores of games played between the Dennison BBC and teams from Philadelphia, Boston, and Newark.
