YMCA Postcard

Here is a great example of baseball and the military merging together on a post dated 1918 postcard. The YMCA organization which provided so many servicemen with sporting goods for recreational use evidently produced writing materials and postcards for them as well. This one clearly shows WWI era soldiers playing baseball with bats, balls, and gloves undoubtedly marked with the distinctive (and sought after) red YMCA logo.
