c.1870's Bib Front Jersey

Handmade by one of the finest clotheirs in Boston with retail agents in Providence, RI and New York City, this circa 1870's bib front jersey features a narrow shield, maritime designs, and mother of pearl buttons. Extensive research done on this jersey and base ball uniforms in general, leads us to the conclusion that it was, in fact, used primarily as a base ball uniform in the 1870s or early 1880's.
