H. Harwood Print

Circa late 19th Century print of Harrison Harwood by renowned engraver H.A. Ritchie. This image reflects the man that founded the H. Harwood & Sons Base Ball Mfg. Company in Natick Mass., in 1858. This company produced the first figure 8 style baseballs for professional use and its our opinion that Harwood is as significant a baseball manufacturer as Spalding and Reach who succeded him in this field.
